Which size do I need?

Check your existing seat clamp or the inside of your seat tube:

• 31.8mm clamp = 27.2mm or 28.6mm seatpost
• 34.9mm clamp = 30.4mm, 30.9mm, or 31.6mm seatpost

If you're not sure, look at the bottom of your seatpost — the diameter is usually printed there.

Why bother?

If you don't have a dropper post and you're riding any kind of mixed terrain, a quick-release seat clamp is the cheapest "dropper post simulator" you can buy. Climb with the saddle up, flip the lever and slam it for the descent, flip it back for the next climb. It's not as fast as a real dropper, but it costs $25 instead of $300.
