Terms of service

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These terms apply when you use chunkymonke.com or buy anything from us. By placing an order you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't order.

Who we are

Chunky Monke is an Australian business selling mountain bike parts and accessories online at chunkymonke.com. You can reach us at brantlowe2@gmail.com.

Using this site

  • You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to buy from us.
  • Don't use the site for anything unlawful, or try to interfere with how it works.
  • We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the site at any time.

Products and descriptions

  • We stock third-party brands alongside our own Chunky Monke products. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners.
  • We try to describe products accurately and show them clearly. Colours can look different on different screens, and suppliers occasionally change small details without notice.
  • Product images are supplied by the manufacturer and show the product as intended, not necessarily the exact unit you receive.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where it applies.
  • Prices can change without notice, but the price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you order.
  • We only charge the price displayed. We don't use inflated "was" prices or fake discounts.
  • Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We don't store your card details.

Orders

  • An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation.
  • If we can't fulfil an order — for example the item is out of stock, the price was listed in error, or we can't ship to your address — we'll contact you and refund any payment in full.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery timeframes, costs and destinations are set out in our Shipping Policy. MTB parts ship free within Australia. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by couriers, customs or events outside our control.

Returns, refunds and warranty

Our Refund Policy explains how to return something and how long you have. Our products also carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. This sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — it doesn't replace them.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure doesn't amount to a major failure. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by using a product outside its intended purpose, incorrect installation, or failing to follow manufacturer instructions. Mountain biking is inherently risky — you are responsible for riding within your limits and maintaining your equipment.

Intellectual property

The content on this site — our text, layout and our own images — belongs to us. Third-party brand names and logos belong to their respective owners. Don't copy or reuse our content without permission.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the site or place an order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
